Minnesota History Center"s History Players presents "Thomas Lyles." Lyles came to St. Paul in 1874 and was among that first generation of civic leaders who helped shape the city's African American community. Lyles was a barber, real estate agent, publisher of the Western Appeal newspaper and one of St Paul's first undertakers. Take a stand and watch this History Player perform as Thomas Lyles.
